Previously, he held the position of CEO of Platos, a company of the Cogna group, with four business units under management: Opm, Saraiva Educação, Red Balloon and PNLD. He worked for the last 10 years at the Cogna group, having had varied scopes in that period, such as Director of Operations, Director of different business units, Vice President of Innovation, Vice President of Continuing Education until taking over as CEO of Platos in 2019. Before Cogna, he worked for 10 years in the financial market with a focus on credit products for individuals, mainly credit cards, in projects focused on pricing, development and performance of distribution channels, segmentation and profitability of customers and the acquisition project. During this period, he worked for eight years at Banco Itaú and two years at Lojas Quero-Quero (at the time, an investee company of the Private Equity Advent Internacional fund) always focused on financial services for retail. In addition to his position as an executive, Paulo de Tarso also acts as an advisory board member at Pet Delicia, a natural pet food company, and has already served for two years as an advisory board member at Razac Trading. Paulo de Tarso holds an MBA from the Wharton School (University of Pennsylvania), a postgraduate degree in business management from the Getúlio Vargas Foundation (FGV) and a degree in Computer Engineering from the Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica (ITA).
